Master of Time

I had a cool dream where time slowed down when I tried to do stunts in the air. I would jump up and then have time to figure out what to do.

After doing flips over things and spinning wildly in the air for a while, I raced my friend to class. I ran low to the ground, using my hands to pull myself forward and up if I stumbled forward on the slippery ground. My friend said CH2CHCOOH and the formula appeared on a bus that was blocking our path up ahead. We went around it in different directions and arrived at our destination nearly simultaneously.

Once, there a familiar looking kid said, "You know what else (referring to the chemical my friend brought up) makes you run fast? Nutella." I said, "that's ironic, since I didn't eat breakfast." I opened the door and my friend pushed me through the halls at lightning speed to a door labeled PSY. I knew I didn't have that class, but he did, but he continued to push me into the dry brown room and I saw a man who must have been the teacher.

Programming and Dancing

I had a dream that I was working on a challenging computer programming problem at the end of an enormous golden ballroom. I looked over my shoulder and walking toward me were two of my friends in beautiful gowns. One of them (who I only knew through the internet) was wearing a dark red that glistened and swirled with a satin shimmer. My other friend was wearing a deep black that seemed to annihilate the light for several inches around it. The sleeves and neckline were lace.

After crossing the empty ballroom to get to where I was, they tried to get me to stop working on the computer problem. They really didn't understand how important it was, and how close I was to having a breakthrough. I really needed to concentrate and began to feel a little sad.

The girl in black wanted me to dance, and although I didn't want to dance, I did want to spend time with her. I told her that I would catch up with them after I finished, which could happen any moment.

They walked away, and before they had crossed the midpoint of the ballroom my debugging had finally come up without any major errors and to my surprise the sample data had gone through properly and the file it exported matched the expected output perfectly.

I walked away from the computer, my footsteps echoing a contrast to the tiny pecking sound of retreating high-heels. The girl in red whirled around and shuffled as quickly as she could in her dress toward me. While the girl in black walked at a regular pace toward us, the girl in red made a running jump into a hug and latched on.

The girl in black stopped a short distance away and crossed her arms with an expectant look crossing her face. That moment, the vision of her, a beautiful darkness against the sunset amber shades of the ballroom, hung in time. I started to feel embarrassed with the girl in red in my arms, and I woke up.

Under the Bridge

I had a dream that was a flythrough of a trippy cityscape to the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Under the Bridge".

The lyrics I remember hearing in the song (still going through my head) are:
I don't ever wannna feeel like I did that day.
Take me to the place I looove
Take me all the wayy

and then the song got really intense backup vocals wailed
Under the bridge downtown

I haven't listened to this song in a really long time. I never really listened to it on purpose, actually.

Bad Haircut

I had a dream that my mom and I went to Target to get haircuts. They put me in some kind of automatic hair cutting machine. The haircut was horrible. They held up a mirror and someone else's head was in the way randomly but I made him move. I thought I was looking at my mom's bad haircut. It was mostly shaved to gray stubble, except at the very top that was shredded to varying lengths at random. and I was outraged and stormed out. We walked home with food even though we had a car. I learned that it was my haircut and I was very sad.

In my dream I woke up, and checked to see that I didn't really have a terrible haircut, and then I woke up.

Exploring Secrets

Today I dreamed about having my dad wake me up and ask me to go somewhere with him. I only agreed to go because I was still groggy and tired. We drove into a metropolis and went into a building.

The inside of the building was very puzzle-like. There were passages leading to lower floors at the end of each room, and some were completely hidden. On one floor, there looked like there was no passage at all, but looking at it from another angle showed the back wall only looked like it was flat while looking at it straight-on. There was really a front wall and a wall behind it, and between the two were stairs leading downward.

I found a secret passage that was blocked by some kind of creature sitting on a stool. Once I made it inside the room, I saw treasure and mysterious objects. There was some golden thread which I tied to a piece of normal yarn and wrapped around my head.

A friend came in with a bump key and opened a locked closet. He complained that his key was being worn out and damaged. All around the inside were the glowing eyes of unknown creatures, watching.
